Job summary

Our client is seeking a Mixer Operator in Morris, IL to support the production process. You will handle chemicals and rubber, verify ingredients with the Banbury Mixing Sheet, and operate the #11 Banbury mixer in auto and manual modes. A strong emphasis on safety and accuracy is essential.

The role requires reading and following directions in English, lifting up to 75 lbs, and maintaining clean equipment. This is a hands-on position with growth potential within a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift at least 75 lbs safely.
• Must be able to read and understand directions, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong safety habits and awareness of safe work practices.
• Basic understanding of PLC screens and temperature adjustments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Position containers of chemicals and rubber safely and efficiently.
• Identify chemicals and rubber to ensure proper handling.
• Use the Banbury Mixing Sheet to confirm ingredients per batch.
• Operate the Banbury mixer in automatic and manual modes.
• Maintain a clean mixer, including door and throat, for safety and efficiency.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mixer Operator to join their team. As a Mixer Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety-consciousness, and strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mixer Operator

Location: Morris, IL

Pay Rate:$22.11

Shift: 3PM-11PM

What's the Job?

• Use powered and unpowered hand trucks to position containers of chemicals and rubber safely and efficiently
• Identify different types of chemicals and rubber to ensure proper handling and processing
• Utilize the “#11 Banbury Mixing Sheet” to confirm the correct ingredients per batch
• Operate the #11 Banbury mixer in both automatic and manual modes, adjusting settings as needed
• Maintain a clean mixer, including the mixer door and throat, free of excess buildup to ensure safety and efficiency
