Defense Mechanics Inc in Denton, TX is seeking a dependable mixer operator to support our dry mix production line. You will cut bags, operate a mixer, and pre-weigh ingredients according to batch instructions.

Job description

As a mixer you will be required to cut in bags into mixer, operate a mixer, pre-weigh ingredients for each batch as instructed by the mixer controller.You will also be required to dump trash at the end of the shift and make sure your mixing department is clean prior to the next shift coming onboard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help prepare various dry mix products for packaging and sale
• Read/interpret mixing schedule
• Operate forklift to transport and stack ingredients
• Weigh-up ingredients per batch sheet and mix schedule
• Place ingredients in mixer and prepare mix/clean mixers
• Provide QA with product samples
• Maintain clean work environment
• Document mixing activity
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
