Job summary

AtWork Personnel Services is seeking a Mixing Operator to manage the end-to-end mixing process, ensuring safety and efficiency in production lines. You will coordinate with warehouse and supervision to secure materials and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include labeling checks, weighing to order specs, equipment safety, and timely material preparation, while upholding 5S cleanliness and clear communication with the extruder operator.

Responsibilities

• Work with Warehouse and Supervisor to receive necessary materials required for work order.
• Check raw material labeling against work order to ensure correct materials are being utilized.
• Weigh materials and record measurements against work order to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize mixing equipment in a safe manner in line with procedures and training, ensuring equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Clean station and equipment throughout use, and leave a clean working area following 5S principles.
• Close out each mixing order by ensuring paperwork is complete and return raw materials as required.
• Communicate with extruder operator to ensure material charges are ready in a timely manner.
• Plan daily timeline of mixing charges with the supervisor as needed.
• Follow company policies to promote a safe and productive environment through teamwork and communication.
• Report any issues or concerns to shift supervisor or production management.

• Clean station and equipment throughout use, ensuring that at shift end working area is fully cleaned and clear of any debris, following 5S principles.
• Close out each mixing order by ensuring paperwork is complete and return raw materials as required.
• Communicate with extruder operator to ensure material charges are ready in a timely manner.
• Work with supervisor to plan daily timeline of mixing charges as needed
• Follow company policies to promote a safe and productive environment through effective teamwork and communication.
• Report any issues or concerns to shift supervisor or if necessary to production management.
