• Ensure continuous material supply to production equipment including Banbury mixers.
• Move and stage raw materials and finished compounds to support production flow.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Manage storage locations for compounds and raw materials.
• Complete forklift inspection checklists prior to each shift.
• Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or workflow disruptions.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers.
• Transfer materials between plant areas as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and equipment cleaning tasks.
• Support administrative and inventory tracking tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

This position ensures the efficient movement and staging of materials to meet production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Essential Functions

• Ensure continuous supply of materials to production equipment including Banbury mixers
• Move and stage raw materials and finished compounds to support production flow
• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and other equipment
• Maintain proper inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures
• Manage compound and raw material storage locations
• Complete forklift inspection checklists prior to each shift
• Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or workflow disruptions
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers
• Transfer materials between plant areas as needed
• Perform housekeeping tasks including equipment cleaning
• Support administrative and inventory tracking tasks
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification
