Job summary

Tech Edge Networks is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth space technology company for a Senior Mixed Signal Electrical Engineer in El Segundo, CA. This hands-on hardware role involves designing mixed-signal hardware from schematic to flight-ready development for next-generation spacecraft.

You will tackle analog/digital circuit design, sensor interfaces, embedded systems and power electronics, with PCB development, verification and environmental testing. Government clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Strong analog and digital circuit-design experience.
• Experience designing and debugging PCBs.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Experience with schematic/PCB tools such as Altium.
• Strong hands-on laboratory and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience developing aerospace, defense, robotics or similarly high-reliability hardware.
• Experience with power electronics is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, motor-control hardware or field-oriented control is a plus.

This is a hands-on hardware development opportunity supporting next-generation spacecraft technology. The engineer will design and mature mixed-signal electrical hardware from schematic through prototype build, board bring-up, testing and flight-ready development.

Compensation:

$165,000-$205,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
