Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Mixed-Signal Electronic Design Engineer to design, test, and oversee the manufacturing of electrical PCBs, analog and digital circuits, sensors, motors, radar and navigation systems, supporting national security missions.

You will lead schematic capture, simulation, layout oversight, bring-up and verification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex instruments on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Technical capability with strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience leading teams of engineers and developing new products/business.

Responsibilities

• Translate project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Design and/or complete instruments including microprocessors, power, and analog components.
• Build and test prototypes, debug, and prepare documentation for manufacturing.
