Job summary

Draper, an independent nonprofit R&D organization, seeks an Electronics/Electrical Engineer in Cambridge, MA. You will design, test, and oversee manufacturing of PCBs, analog/digital circuits, sensors, motors, radar, and navigation systems across full product lifecycles.

You will translate complex requirements into robust hardware, perform simulations, validate designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions while coordinating with leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; Master's preferred.
• 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Eligibility for US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into hardware architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Design, simulate, lay out, build, test, and document hardware prototypes and PCB designs.
• Support manufacturing through documentation and ongoing field deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers and partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Communicate design status and issues clearly to leadership and teams.
• Independently manage assignments with minimal oversight and rigor.

Education
