Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

About The Role

As a UX Researcher, you will shape research culture at a mission-driven company while creating impactful products for families. Your work will influence how parents navigate child-rearing challenges. You will investigate user needs and behaviors through qualitative and quantitative methods, uncovering insights that guide product strategy and usability improvements. Collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers, and a quantitative researcher will be key.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and prioritize research opportunities aligned with business and user needs
  • Conduct foundational and tactical research, including interviews, usability testing, need-finding, and concept testing
  • Gather and interpret data from various sources, including market research and reports
  • Analyze data statistically and synthesize findings into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with the quantitative researcher on surveys, personas, and behavioral data analysis
  • Communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders
  • Promote user-centered research culture within the company
Requirements
  • 3+ years in UX research within consumer products or related fields, skilled in qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Experience conducting interviews, usability tests, and concept testing
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and tools like R, STATA, SPSS, etc.
  • Ability to design and analyze surveys, synthesize insights, and present findings
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Online research portfolio or PDF showcasing your process and case studies
Nice to Have
  • Experience with behavioral segmentation or personas
  • Background in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields
  • UX/UI design experience
