Alpha Veterinary Services in Uniontown, PA is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. The role involves assisting veterinarians, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, and client education.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant with 1–2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during appointments, diagnostics and treatments.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist during surgical procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia based on experience and credentials.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing.
• Place IV catheters and administer medications and vaccines.
• Take and develop digital radiographs.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Educate clients on medications and preventive care.
