Heavenly Kids in Columbus, OH is seeking a passionate Mixed Age Group Teacher to join our early education team. This role offers a chance to inspire children across developmental stages in a nurturing, child-centered environment.

You will build strong connections with families and collaborate with fellow educators to maintain program quality. Ideal candidates have a background in early childhood education or related fields, experience with mixed-age settings, and a genuine passion for supporting

Qualifications

• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching or working in a mixed-age or multi-age classroom setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for a mixed-age group of young learners
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports individual growth
• Observe and document child development milestones and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Build positive, communicative relationships with families and caregivers
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure program consistency and quality
• Guide social-emotional learning and conflict resolution among students of varying ages
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space

• Current or ability to obtain required Ohio childcare certifications and clearances
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Warm, nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
