Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration is hiring a Water Mitigation Technician in Ann Arbor, MI. The role involves performing water mitigation and emergency restoration with both individual and team responsibilities. You may lead projects based on experience, and overtime may be required for CAT events and disaster response.

The position emphasizes safety, high-quality workmanship, and strong customer service throughout the restoration process, with emphasis on teamwork and documentation using our platforms.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more.
• Previous water mitigation, restoration, or construction experience preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus for Senior Technician candidates.
• Availability to work overtime and respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
• Nights, weekends, and extended hours may be required during CAT events and large-scale disaster response situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform water mitigation services in accordance with Paul Davis and industry standards.
• Assist with or lead projects depending on experience level.
• Perform emergency services including: Water mitigation.
• Tarping.
• Board-up services.
• Mold remediation.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Remove damaged building materials and contents as needed.
• Maintain accurate job documentation using company technology platforms.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process.
• Work alongside team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship.

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience
