Job summary

Maintco in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform demolition, debris removal, water extraction, and site stabilization for residential and commercial settings. No prior experience required; we provide training to learn water mitigation, mold remediation, and the use of moisture meters and IR cameras.

This full-time role offers steady hours, on-call weekends on a rotating basis, and opportunities for overtime, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• No certifications or prior industry experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces/attics.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable with power tools and fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to be on-call after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition work and debris removal.
• Assist with water extraction and drying setup.
• Document work with photos and written notes.
• Keep job sites clean and organized.
• Support senior crew and follow all safety procedures on-site.
• Learn to use moisture meters and IR cameras.
• Adapt to changing job conditions until the job is done.
