Job summary

ServPro NE is seeking a Mitigation Technician to respond to water, fire, mold, and storm emergencies. You will perform hands-on mitigation, set equipment, and support documentation to ensure quality results and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include operating restoration equipment, documenting moisture and progress, and coordinating with the Crew Chief and Project Manager. A strong work ethic, teamwork, and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer focus.
• Able to follow directions and work in a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in water, fire, mold, and storm mitigation and cleanup services.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums).
• Perform demolition as needed (drywall, flooring, insulation, trim).
• Clean and sanitize affected areas per standards.
• Document job progress, moisture readings, and customer communications.
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite, vehicle, and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and managers.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
