Job summary

Boston Harbor Water Restoration, based in Weymouth, MA, is seeking a driven Mitigation Technician to restore homes and businesses after water, fire, and other emergencies. You’ll perform containment, demolition, extraction, and restoration while documenting progress digitally.

You’ll have opportunities to grow, with a clear pathway to higher hourly rates and leadership roles as reliability and skill increase, plus substantial overtime income and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on water/fire mitigation/restoration
• Carpentry/demolition or related trades encouraged
• Proficiency with power tools for demolition
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Tech-savvy for mobile site documentation and time tracking

Responsibilities

• Arrive by 6:30 AM, load van, and partner travel to sites
• Complete 1–2 smaller jobs per day including water extraction and demo
• Transport, set up and monitor drying equipment; cleanup
• Use mobile apps to clock in/out, capture measurements and photos
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response
