About the Role

Clarketon Restoration is looking for an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our San Diego team. This role is for someone who understands the realities of water damage restoration and is comfortable working in active loss environments — not someone brand new to the trade.

We handle water damage, fire and smoke damage, and mold remediation. This includes early mornings, occasional after-hours calls, and hands‑on work inside occupied homes and properties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assess water-, fire-, and mold-damaged properties
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment and containments
• Perform fire and smoke cleanup and odor control
• Execute mold remediation following safety protocols
• Use hand tools for selective demolition and prep
• Maintain clean, professional job sitesCommunicate clearly with homeowners, property managers, and internal staff
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation (about one week per month)
