Serclean is hiring a Mitigation Technician in Panama City Beach, FL. The role leads jobsite activities, oversees technicians, and ensures water damage projects meet safety and quality standards while identifying new service opportunities for the sales team.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in water mitigation, a high school diploma, valid GA license, and strong communication skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits and commissions, with a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of water mitigation experience.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred.
• Ability to lead a team on active job sites.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean record.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/on-call.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Water Mitigation Execution: perform all aspects of water mitigation including controlled demolition, equipment setup, moisture mapping, and site cleanup.
• Sales Communication: identify and communicate additional scope needs to mitigation manager and customers as needed.
• Job Site Management: lead on-site operations ensuring safety, organization, and proper workflow.
• Compliance & Documentation: use moisture meters and monitoring tools to track drying progress and complete daily documentation.
• SOP & Safety Compliance: enforce company safety policies and SOPs.
• Vehicle Operation: operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Customer Service: serve as the on-site point of contact for clients.

Position Summary

The Mitigation Technician is a key leadership role within Serclean’s water mitigation team. This position is responsible for managing jobsite activity, overseeing technicians, and ensuring all water damage mitigation projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with IICRC and company standards. The role includes identifying additional service opportunities during projects and working closely with the sales team to ensure scope accuracy and customer satisfaction. The Lead Technician must model professionalism, follow all Standard Operating Procedures, and consistently deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Water Mitigation Execution: Perform all aspects of water mitigation, including controlled demolition, equipment setup, moisture mapping, and jobsite cleanup.
• Sales Communication: Identify and communicate additional scope needs to the mitigation manager and customers as needed.
• Job Site Management: Lead on-site operations to ensure safety, organization, and proper workflow.
• Compliance & Documentation: Use moisture meters and monitoring tools to track drying progress and complete documentation daily.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team on active job sites.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean record.
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends/on-call.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varied environments.

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting of 50+ pounds.
• Work in crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces.
