First Restoration is seeking dependable Mitigation Technicians to join our team in Oklahoma City. This role responds to water, fire, mold, and other property damage emergencies and assists with cleanup, removal, and restoration tasks.

You will work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, delivering practical, customer-focused service. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to work evenings or weekends as needed, with a valid driver's license and reliable

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, janitorial, demolition, or related fields preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in challenging environments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic smartphone and technology skills, able to use field apps as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, storm, mold, and other damage at residential and commercial properties.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, cleaning, and debris removal.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Identify and document affected areas and property conditions.
• Pack, move, and protect contents and personal belongings as needed.
• Clean and sanitize affected areas and materials.
• Assist with mold remediation and other specialty cleaning projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and job-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property owners, insurance representatives, and coworkers.
• Complete accurate job documentation, including photos, measurements, equipment usage, and work performed.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Work effectively as part of a restoration team and take direction from project managers and supervisors.
• Perform other duties related to restoration and mitigation as assigned.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Basic smartphone and technology skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
