Job summary

SERVPRO Team Fosdick in Northeast Ohio is seeking Mitigation Technicians to perform production tasks on fire and water restoration projects for residential and commercial customers. You will work under the guidance of the crew chief, handling restoration duties, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and ensuring on-time, high-quality service.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, loading materials, complying with production guidelines, and maintaining safe, organized job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Commitment to world-class customer service
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekends
• Clean driving record required

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls for residential and commercial customers.
• Follow SERVPRO production guidelines and coordinate with crew chief.
• Support crew chief and other production staff.
• Load and unload equipment, maintain vehicles and warehouse.
• Ensure safety guidelines and complete end-of-day cleanup.
• Maintain clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians.
• Prepare spaces and set up staging areas.
• Leave job sites clean and orderly.
• Complete documentation as required.

Due to our recent growth, we are seeking customer focused, motivated, and responsible Mitigation Technicians. The Mitigation Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of restoration projects for our various customers from fire and water damage. Technicians provide our customers with quality, consistent, and efficient work, representing the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Job Description

Respond to service calls as needed from both residential and commercial customers. Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse. Compete documentation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Set up staging area and equipment for each project
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO production guidelines per work order per crew chief directions
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Dedicated to world class customer service
• Effective oral communication
• Ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekends
• Must have clean driving record

Physical And Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
