About the Role:

FLOOD TECH 3 CORP is looking for a skilled Mitigation Technician to join our team in Alexandria, VA! This is a hands‑on role where you'll play a critical part in helping property owners recover from water, fire, and other damage — making a real difference when it matters most.

Responsibilities:

• Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation services on residential and commercial properties


• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters


• Conduct structural drying, demolition, and debris removal as needed


• Document job site conditions with photos, moisture readings, and daily progress reports


• Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process


• Follow IICRC standards and safety protocols on every job site


• Respond to emergency service calls, including after‑hours when required

Requirements:

• Prior experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a related trade preferred


• IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification a plus


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and documentation procedures


• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team


• Willingness to be on‑call for emergency response situations
