• IICRC Fire Restoration Technician and Mold Remediation preferences exist, training is available.

Education and Certification:

Preferred Industry Certification but not necessary: IICRC Certified Water Restoration Technician, IICRC Fire Restoration Technician, and IICRC Certified Mold Remediation Technician, Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/ CSDS). These are a plus; if not certified, we will train and certify.

Remediation Technician – Key Responsibilities:

• Respond daily to water mitigation clean-up jobs, sewage backups, flooding, fire board-ups, and demolition jobs.
• Receive training on water extraction and operation of equipment.
• Learn how to set up and operate drying equipment.
• Report to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and complete assigned tasks daily.
• Preserve structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor’s instructions.
• Inform the Project Supervisor of equipment and materials needed to complete assignments properly and on schedule.
• Possess communication skills and experience to direct laborers in restoration protocols.
• Maintain personnel documentation, hours, and work performed on each shift.
• Practice on-the-job safety and promote safety among the team.
• Be included in an on-call schedule and rotation for after-hours and weekend assignments.
