Job summary

Higher Point Carpet Care LLC is seeking a driven Mitigation & Project Manager to lead remediation, water mitigation, and related projects from start to finish across Central Florida. The role requires coordinating crews, scheduling, and safety while maintaining top customer service during stressful events.

You will be hands-on with the crew, perform inspections, develop estimates, and ensure compliance with IICRC standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water/fire mitigation, restoration project management, or a related field.
• IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or similar) strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and working with adjusters.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call response as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment scheduling to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct on-site inspections and document damage using industry-standard moisture mapping and reporting tools.
• Perform mold and moisture inspections, identify problem areas, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and submit accurate estimates, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, clients, and team members.
• Ensure all mitigation work meets IICRC standards and local compliance requirements.
• Monitor job site safety, quality control, and crew performance on active loss sites.
• Be hands-on and actively participate in mitigation and remediation work alongside the crew, including drywall removal, demolition of affected materials, equipment setup, cleaning, and other restoration tasks as needed.
