Cavalry Construction & Restoration in Houston is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager with 3–5 years of restoration leadership experience. You will manage multiple mitigation and rebuild projects, plan field activities, and lead teams to meet schedules with urgency.

Responsibilities include daily planning, huddles, site oversight, customer communication, and rigorous documentation. Travel may be required; compensation ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 per year with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restoration industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mitigation processes, equipment and safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple job sites.
• IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, FSRT, AMRT).
• Certified Lead Renovator preferred.
• TDLR Mold Remediation Contractor license preferred.

Mitigation Project Manager

Cavalry Construction & Restoration is a local leader in residential and commercial mitigation and restoration services. We specialize in water, mold, and fire damage recovery and are committed to delivering a professional, agile, and 5-star customer experience on every project.

We are looking for an ideal candidate in the Houston area who has strong restoration experience, proven leadership in field operations, and the ability to manage multiple mitigation and rebuild projects with professionalism and urgency.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Team Leadership

• Review daily schedules and job scopes to plan field activities and allocate resources.
• Prepare detailed job notes prior to the start of each workday.
• Lead daily morning huddles to assign tasks, set expectations, and address questions.
• Provide clear direction and support to field technicians to ensure productivity and accountability.

Job Site Oversight & Quality Control

• Visit active job sites to monitor progress and verify work meets company and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve project issues, operational challenges, and customer concerns promptly.
• Serve as an escalation point for field staff when technical, logistical, or customer issues arise.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate directly with homeowners to explain project status, address concerns, and outline next steps.
• Act as a liaison between mitigation teams, inspectors, equipment vendors, and internal departments.
• Coordinate EMS inspections and equipment pickups as needed.

Documentation & File Management

• Receive and verify “drive-away” calls from field teams upon job completion.
• Ensure all required documentation is submitted, including scope notes, photos, scope sheets, and follow-up items.
• Review job files daily or before the next workday to confirm completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain audit-ready files to support billing, compliance, and quality assurance.

Training & Safety Leadership

• Conduct weekly training meetings focused on operational trends, skill development, and performance improvement.
• Lead monthly safety meetings centered on risk prevention, compliance, and best practices.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the field team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the Restoration Industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mitigation processes, equipment, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple job sites simultaneously.
• IICRC Certifications preferred (WRT, FSRT, AMRT).
• Certified Lead Renovator preferred.
• TDLR Mold Remediation Contractor License preferred.
• Proficiency with job documentation systems, photos, and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated sales aptitude and customer-facing professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operations Manager experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay:$60,000 - $90,000 per year
