Job summary

DRYmedic Restoration Services in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking a Lead Restoration Technician to work with the Mitigation Service Team on properties damaged by water, fire, mold, or other causes. You will remove non-restorable materials, extract water, and assist with restoration production while following the job action plan.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, confined spaces work, and collaboration with Foreman and Supervisors to ensure safe, efficient on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation to Main office.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove/demolish materials that cannot be restored or repaired at job sites.
• Extract standing water when needed.
• Move, clean, and store equipment, tools, and vans.
• Clean up affected areas and debris at job sites.
• Assist with job site production and safety.
• Operate power tools and use drying equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with Foreman on workflow and scope of work.

Job Summary

The Lead Restoration Technician is responsible to work side by side with the Mitigation Service Team restoring buildings that have been damaged by Water, Fire, Mold, or other causes. This role works closely with our team members to perform a variety of tasks such as removing and demolishing materials that cannot be restored, extracting standing water, and cleaning up affected materials and areas at job sites. Responsible for executing job action plans, manipulating contents, working in confined spaces, and utilizing power tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Remove/ demolish materials that cannot be restored or repaired at job sites


• Extract standing water if needed


• Move, clean, and store equipment, tools, and vans


• Clean up affected materials and areas at job sites including removing all job-related debris


• Assisting Project Forman with job site production


• Maintaining job site safety


• Execute job action plan for restoration production


• Contents manipulation


• Working in confined spaces including heights


• Utilization of power tools


• Assist with warehouse duties


• Utilize truck mounted Extractor efficiently


• Identify and place drying equipment


• Able to communicate workflow and scope of work with Foreman and Supervisors

Required Qualifications

• Must have Valid Drivers' License


• Must have reliable transportation to Main office


• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.


• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting


• Clean shave face for use of respirator per OSHA regulations


• Working in a team environment


• Working in tight or confined spaces

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
