Job summary

iicrc-careers is hiring entry-level Mitigation Laborers in the United States. No experience or degree required; full training paid and you will learn a licensed trade (IICRC certification) while handling real equipment to respond to water, fire, and storm damage.

Starting pay is $20–$23/hour with overtime potential and promotion from within. 16 locations across 7 states offer opportunities to transfer as you build skills and gain leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 18+, valid driver's license, able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet.
• Show up on time, ready to work.
• Willing to be on-call rotation (water damage doesn't keep banker's hours).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to property damage calls.
• Extract water, set up drying equipment, and demo damaged materials.
• Work with a crew and learn the science of restoration.
• Talk to customers on the worst day of their year and help fix it.

What you'll do:

Respond to property damage calls. Extract water, set up drying equipment, and demo damaged materials. Work with a crew. Learn the science of restoration (psychometrics, structural drying, microbial remediation). Talk to customers on the worst day of their year and help fix it.
