Job summary

DRYmedic Restoration Services is seeking a Mitigation Foreman to supervise restoration projects, lead a skilled crew, and coordinate subcontractors on site. The role requires hands-on leadership in water, fire, mold, or asbestos mitigation, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, document progress, and manage equipment setup and on-site workflow. On-call rotation and OT are paid as per schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation to the office.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and perform physical tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a field setting.
• Familiarity with using email and standard office software.
• Willingness to work on-call and overtime as scheduled.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Comfort with on-site supervision and coordinating subcontractors.
• Maintaining job-site safety and compliance with OSHA rules.
• Experience supervising mitigation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager on all job site activities.
• Execute the restoration production action plan.
• Communicate workflow and scope with project team.
• Lead crew to remove or demolish non-restorable materials.
• Supervise crew and any subcontractors on site.
• Utilize truck-mounted extractor efficiently.
• Extract standing water when needed.
• Set up equipment, move tools, restock vans.
• Maintain job site safety.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Use power tools appropriately.
• Identify and place drying equipment correctly.
• Document loss sites with project manager using company software.
• Take photos at different stages of a project.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in supervising all aspects of a mitigation project and can effectively manage a team of skilled workers.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager on all job site activities
• Execute job action plan for restoration production
• Communicate workflow and scope of work with team members assigned to the project
• Lead team members to remove or demolish materials that cannot be restored or repaired at job sites
• Supervise the crew and any additional subcontractors or vendors on site
• Utilize truck‑mounted extractor efficiently
• Extract standing water if needed
• Set up equipment, move tools, and restock vans
• Maintain job site safety
• Work in confined spaces including heights
• Use power tools appropriately
• Identify and place drying equipment correctly
• Use company software to document loss sites alongside the project manager
• Take photos at different stages of a project

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Pass background check
• Reliable transportation to the office
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting
• Use email and other software
• Clean‑shaven face for use of respirator per OSHA regulations
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
• On‑call per rotation schedule (paid OT, 2× pay for on‑call/after‑hours work)

Pay Range

$23.00–$27.00 per hour
