Job summary

DRYmedic Restoration Services is seeking a hands-on Restoration Foreman to lead mitigation crews restoring properties damaged by water, fire, or mold. You will supervise field technicians, plan tasks, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

You should be physically fit, able to operate power tools, and capable of reading job plans. Experience with Xactimate and IICRC certifications are a plus; we value leadership, reliability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage, fire restoration, and mold remediation preferred.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required; reliable transportation to main office.
  • Pass background check; able to lift 50 lbs; physically fit for field work.
  • Ability to lead a team, communicate workflow clearly, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Remove/demolish materials that cannot be restored or repaired at job sites.
  • Extract standing water when needed and manage restoration production.
  • Move, clean, and store equipment, tools, and vans.
  • Ensure job site safety and execute job action plans.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely; collaborate with Supervisors.
  • Assist with warehouse duties and communicate scope of work effectively.

Job Summary

Are you a hands-on problem-solver looking for an exciting career opportunity? We are seeking a Restoration Foreman to join our growing team! As a Lead Restoration Foreman, you will be responsible to work side by side with the Mitigation Service Team restoring buildings that have been damaged by Water, Fire, Mold, or other causes.

In this role, you will work closely with our team members to perform a variety of tasks such as removing and demolishing materials that cannot be restored, extracting standing water, and cleaning up affected materials and areas at job sites. You will also be responsible for executing job action plans, manipulating contents, working in confined spaces, and utilizing power tools, among other things.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be physically fit, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in fast- paced, ever-changing environments. You will also need to be able to think on your feet and make sound decisions to ensure that projects are completed.

Responsibilities
  • Remove/ demolish materials that cannot be restored or repaired at job sites
  • Extract standing water if needed
  • Move, clean, and store equipment, tools, and vans
  • Clean up affected materials and areas at job sites including removing all job-related debris
  • Maintaining job site safety
  • Execute job action plan for restoration production
  • Contents manipulation
  • Working in confined spaces including heights
  • Utilization of power tools
  • Assist with warehouse duties
  • Utilize truck mounted Extractor efficiently
  • Identify and place drying equipment
  • Able to communicate workflow and scope of work with Supervisors
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques is a plus.
  • IICRC certifications including but not limited to WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT is preferred.
  • Experience in working with Xactimate is a plus.
  • Must have Valid Drivers' License
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have reliable transportation to Main office
  • Must me able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting
  • Clean shave face for use of respirator per OSHA regulations
  • Working in a team environment
  • Working in tight or confined spaces
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing restoration tasks.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety on job sites.
