Job summary

SERVPRO in Arnold, MD is seeking a Mitigation Billing & Xactimate Coordinator for an in-office role. You will convert field documentation into accurate Xactimate estimates so completed jobs can be billed quickly, working with Project Managers and field staff.

Experience with restoration billing is preferred; Xactimate knowledge is a plus. You will handle insurance and program documentation, build estimates from scopes, photos and measurements, and ensure timely invoicing.

Mitigation Billing & Xactimate Coordinator

Location: Arnold, MD Pay: $55,000–$70,000 per year

SERVPRO is looking for a Mitigation Billing & Xactimate Coordinator to join our office in Arnold.

This is an in-office position working with our water, fire and mold mitigation department. The main responsibility is taking the scope and documentation provided by our field crews and turning it into an accurate Xactimate estimate so completed jobs can be billed quickly.

Our crew chiefs document their jobs in the field with photos, measurements, equipment and scope information. You will work from that documentation, build the estimate in Xactimate, identify anything that's missing and work with our Project Managers when there are questions or something needs additional review.

We handle a steady volume of insurance restoration work, so this position is important to keeping completed jobs from sitting and making sure our billing stays current.

Responsibilities

• Write Xactimate estimates for water, fire and mold mitigation jobs
• Build estimates from field scopes, photos, measurements and job documentation
• Review completed job files for missing information
• Work with Project Managers and field staff when additional information is needed
• Make estimate revisions and corrections when necessary
• Track completed mitigation jobs through the billing process
• Prepare and send invoices
• Complete required insurance and program documentation
• Keep job notes and files organized and up to date
• Follow up internally on jobs that are missing information or waiting to be billed

What We're Looking For

Restoration industry experience is preferred, but we are open to someone with related experience who can learn our process.

Experience with Xactimate is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

People with experience as a restoration Job File Coordinator, restoration administrator, estimating assistant, insurance claims professional, construction estimator or similar position may be a good fit.

You should be:

• Organized and comfortable managing a high volume of files
• Detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with numbers and estimating software
• Good at following up when information is missing
• Able to communicate with field employees and Project Managers
• Comfortable working independently and keeping work moving
• Familiar with insurance restoration or property claims is a plus

Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, DryBook or other restoration software is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

$55,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience.
