Job summary

Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. seeks an MITD Operations Specialist to support the Maritime & Intermodal Training Department. The role involves preparing briefings, spreadsheets, data downloads, and system inputs while aiding department staff with Army data.

You will coordinate internal/external training resources, schedule classrooms, training devices, and graduation events to ensure training effectiveness. Strong Excel/PowerPoint and five years of operations experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ operations experience in a military/admin environment.
  • Experience creating written correspondence per US Army standards.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience tracking suspense actions for large HQ (400+ personnel).
  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare briefings, spreadsheets, data downloads and input.
  • Coordinate internal/external training resources, classrooms and facilities.
  • Track training statistics and update spreadsheets daily.
  • Support staff with Army systems data and information.
  • Travel minimal as needed.

Job Title:

Maritime & Intermodal Training Department (MITD) Operations Specialist, USA Transportation Corps

Essential Job Functions:

Include preparing briefings, spreadsheets, data downloads, system input, and supporting department staff gathering data and information related to training.

Supports administrative staff with information specific to Army systems collecting data.

Track training statistics and update daily established spreadsheets.

Coordinate and schedule all internal and external support requests for classrooms, training devices, graduation hall and other training facilities as required.

Request and coordinate external training resources required by the department including bus support and vessel support in a timely manner to avoid training failure.

Required Education And Experience:

Possess a minimum of five years’ experience working in Operations including in the headquarters of a senior level administrative directorate of a military organization including a Brigade, Battalion, US Army School headquarters or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in preparing written correspondence according to current US Army standards.

Demonstrated experience in preparing and updating spreadsheets and tracking data.

Demonstrated experience in using following Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated experience in tracking all incoming and outgoing suspense actions for a large headquarters type organization (400 personnel or more).

Minimum education level is a high school graduate or a GED.

Possess problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions.

Experience with following resources/systems would be helpful: 719s/7140s, through the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS), the Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility, Virginia Capes (FACSFAC VACAPES) system, and JBL-E Mission Support Group Operations.

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
