Mitchell Activity Center Fitness Instructor (part-time temporary)

Seattle Central College is looking to hire a Mitchell Activity Center Fitness Instructor

Hourly Rate for this position is $50/hr.

Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin December 29th, 2025.

Position Summary

The Mitchell Activity Center (MAC) is a hub for students, staff and faculty at Seattle Central College to gather, socialize, recreate, and exercise. In addition, the MAC serves as a rental space for both college affiliated groups and external rental groups.

The Mitchell Activity Center Fitness Instructor is a part-time temporary position. This position contributes to group fitness classes at the Mitchell Activity Center. We are looking for instructors for Yoga. Duties include conducting and leading classes, demonstrating fitness techniques, motivating students, sending in daily class attendance and engaging with staff at the Mitchell Activity Cetner. This part-time position is typically assigned 2-6 hours per week, classes are 45-60 minutes in length and instructors are paid for set up and clean up time. Morning and afternoon shifts are available.
