Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a regional engagement leader to coordinate outreach to business and community customers within the North Region of Missouri. This remote role advances economic growth by guiding a regional team and aligning programs with statewide plans.

You will support project teams with professional development, serve as a liaison to state agencies and partners, and drive regional strategies that enhance participation and inclusion across plans.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of professional experience in Economic Development or closely related field.
• Staff leadership experience in a dynamic setting.
• Experience empowering teams and setting clear expectations and success metrics.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct outreach efforts to business and community customers throughout the North Region of Missouri.
• Lead the Regional Engagement team in delivering customized support and assistance for projects driving economic growth and workforce capacity in the region.
• Provide guidance, consultation, and professional development to Project Managers and teams on program and resource details and customer service.
