Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Missouri is seeking a Staff Pharmacist with a PharmD and an active Missouri license to join our fast-paced pharmacy team in Chesterfield.

You will counsel patients by phone, collaborate with prescribers, review prescriptions for safety and dosing, and verify finished orders in a high-volume setting.

Recent graduates with appropriate licensure are encouraged to apply; retail or specialty pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri pharmacist license is required.
• PharmD degree is required.
• Minimum 1+ years pharmacist experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive patient counseling via phone on new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper use.
• Collaborate with prescribers to resolve prescription questions or clinical issues delaying dispensing.
• Review prescription orders for therapeutic appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Verify filled prescriptions in a high-volume setting to ensure accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, and labeling before dispensing.
• Assist management with processing, receiving, and transferring prescriptions end-to-end.
