Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join our Roadway Team in Mississippi. You will contribute to planning and design of roadway infrastructure, including intersections, arterials, interstates, and interchanges, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, support client meetings, and ensure compliance with DOT standards and Arcadis practices. Preferred candidates have a PE license or ability to obtain MS licensure within six months and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 6 years of roadway design experience, including DOT projects.
• PE licensure with the ability to obtain MS PE licensure within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables for roadway design projects.
• Perform roadway design for Design-Bid-Build and/or Alternative Delivery projects using DOT standards and CAD tools (MicroStation, OpenRoads).
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and design reports.
