Job summary

VetsEZ in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking an onsite Program Director to lead the implementation and operation of a statewide Health Information Exchange and the development of a Health Data Utility. The role focuses on program delivery, provider relations, and executive stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant healthcare program leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex healthcare technology and HIE programs.
• Proven provider relations and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding governance, budgets and multidisciplinary delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide HIE strategy, governance and program performance.
• Build relationships with state leadership, hospital executives and stakeholders.
• Direct provider outreach, prioritize prospective participants, and communicate the value of HIE participation.
• Oversee budgets, delivery risks, staffing, vendors, and service performance across the program.
• Resolve provider concerns and coordinate with onboarding teams.
• Track adoption, report progress, and guide long-term sustainability.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
