Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories invites undergraduate interns to contribute to MissionTech, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and computer science disciplines. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate program.
• Pursuing science, engineering, or math major.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Able to work up to 25 hours/week during the academic year and up to 40 hours/week in summer.
• Able to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Develop and test advanced materials for component science and production; present results to Sandia teams.
• Collaborate with design and assurance engineering to collect and analyze data through observation and experiments.
• Support advanced system development via code refresh and full-stack programming.
• Assist in testing and optimization of circuits, chips, and high-reliability electronics using standard engineering tools.
• Support telemetry development from concept to prototype, testing, and transition to production.
