Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an engineering leader to drive the Thunder mission system for the Maneuver Dominance team at the Costa Mesa HQ. You will own the design, integration, and open-architecture posture of the mission system, working with vehicle software, payload, and third-party vendors to ensure traceability to program decisions.

The role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams, defining MOSA/WOSA compliant interfaces, and coordinating with airworthiness stakeholders to advance

Qualifications

• Senior role for delivery of a military mission system.
• Experience leading engineering teams in a high performing tech organization.
• Experience with distributed software architectures and MOSA/WOSA concepts.
• Experience with modeling and simulation.
• Familiarity with vehicle management systems and ICDs.

Responsibilities

• Own the mission system design and integration across Thunder platform.
• Lead cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and systems engineering.
• Define architecture choices including MOSA/WOSA and interoperability standards.
• Coordinate with airworthiness/certification stakeholders for Thunder’s path.
• Develop and maintain ICDs for MIL-STD interfaces.
• Oversee verification, testing, and integration of mission systems.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users up to 25%.
