Job summary

Arcfield is seeking an experienced Mission / Systems Engineer to support the development and integration of advanced space-based sensing and mission capabilities for the US Space Force and national security. You will work with government users to translate operational objectives into clear engineering activities and requirements, contributing to mission concepts, CONOPS, and system architectures.

Qualifications

Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; internships or early-career experience acceptable.
Strong written and verbal communication; self-directed and proactive.

Responsibilities

Support mission and systems engineering activities across the full system lifecycle, from concept to operations.
Engage with government customers, mission users, and technical stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, priorities, constraints and challenges.
Develop and refine mission concepts, CONOPS, requirements, and architectures.
Translate operational and mission needs into actionable systems engineering tasks and traceability.
Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and participate in technical reviews.
Maintain awareness of related engineering efforts and seek opportunities for integration across threads.
