Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to support future space systems and GEOINT missions. You will engage in MBSE-driven design, participate in IPTs, and ensure requirements traceability across architecture artifacts, CONOPS, and interfaces.

The role emphasizes collaboration with space system SMEs, government programs, and MBSE experts to model mission systems and verify compliance with standards in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 8–10 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 6–8 years with a master’s) or 3–5 years with a PhD.
• Experience in Requirements Engineering, Systems Integration, and RIO.
• Ability to lead and support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work within SETA/FFRDC and government lines of authority.

Responsibilities

• Support capability and solution definition for future space systems through readiness events and independent reviews.
• Support systems engineering for space system acquisitions in the GEOINT mission area.
• Participate in IPTs and engineering WG to review and assess engineering artifacts, CONOPS, interfaces, and architectures.
• Assist in developing architecture baselines, mission capabilities, schedule, risks, and verification strategy.
• Create quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning, and acquisition logistics.
• Ensure requirements comply with client standards via formal verification methods.
• Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure traceability and applicability of requirements.
• Adopt MBSE in customer and company domains; apply MBSE to major acquisitions.
• Develop models of mission systems using an MBSE tool suite for architecture, workflow, analytics, and visualization.
