Job summary
S3I Engineering, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer I to support the development, integration, testing, and analysis of mission systems and sensors deployed across DoD platforms. You will work with DoD labs and government sites, performing troubleshooting, configuration, and technical documentation in a structured engineering process.
The role requires a BS in a technical field, Linux experience, and the ability to obtain DoD 8570/8140 compliance within six months.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
- Foundational Linux troubleshooting and system analysis experience.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570/8140 compliance within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Assist installation, configuration, and testing of mission systems with sensors and software.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting using Linux command-line tools.
- Configure test benches to validate software requirements and system behavior.
- Document field test results and root-cause indicators for engineers and government personnel.
- Participate in design reviews under supervision.
