The requirements listed define the Mission Systems Engineer (MSE) responsibilities and tasking. The MSE is a highly qualified individual that understands projects, managing resources and can conduct in-depth analysis of systems. The MSE works with the design team to understand the Government’s needs, develop visions, and execute Minotaur and ISR operations. The MSE shall directly support the Chief Integration Officer (CIO)/C5ISR Program Director, Project Managers (PjM), and engineers to accomplish tasks related to design, integration, and deployment of mission systems and ground infrastructure. The MSE shall be a self-starter that is able to deliver products to meet mission execution.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, Aerospace Engineer (AE) or similar technical field of study. Technical degrees may be substituted for 7+ years of directtechnical experience or Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in related fields such as mechanical, electrical or systems design.
Proven performance with projects with good communication, writing and team skills.
