Job summary

Young Life seeks Mission Staff to lead and participate in field ministry, mobilizing volunteers and families to reach teens with the Gospel. You will train, plan and execute club and Campaigners ministries, while building strong relationships in the community.

Responsibilities include spiritual development, leadership development, resource development and direct ministry. You will meet regularly with area leaders, oversee fundraising efforts, coordinate training events and model excellence in

Qualifications

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership on a regular basis.
• Learn to recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team.
• Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping to other leaders.
• Assist in training leaders to develop yearly ministry strategy.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
• Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
• Lead a team to plan and conduct a Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry.
• Lead a team to implement a summer and school-season camping strategy.
