Job summary

Young Life Incorporated in Uptown New York is seeking staff to advance spiritual development and leadership within local ministries. You will lead clubs, Campaigners, and camping programs, while partnering with volunteers and area leaders to implement a yearly ministry plan. Responsibilities include donor communication and event coordination to sustain the ministry.

The role requires relational skills with both kids and adults, strong communication, and confidentiality. College degree preferred.

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan fostering a vibrant spiritual life including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer and a sincere commitment to understanding God’s Word.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Recruit, train and equip leaders for a ministry team and ensure alignment with area strategy.
• Plan and conduct Young Life clubs and Campaigners/discipleship ministry with excellence.
• Oversee fundraising and donor communication, including major donor care and engagement.
• Adhere to Young Life policies and maintain professionalism in office operations and time management.

Education

College degree preferred.
