Job summary

Castelion in Torrance, CA is hiring a Mission Software Engineer to build software that connects products into an integrated mission capability. You will design, code, review, test, and commit production software across platforms, interfacing with flight software, avionics, and systems teams.

You will own software capabilities from architecture through deployment, contribute to testing, and collaborate with government customers and partners to field end-to-end mission solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience contributing to production codebases with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy production software supporting Castelion products and mission systems.
• Develop and integrate command-and-control software connecting operators, sensors, weapons, and platforms.
• Build APIs, services, and data pipelines for mission data, telemetry, and system state.
