Job summary

Tri Star Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer II to support software development and system administration for the EW ICO Expeditionary program in the Azurite project.

You will design, implement, and test mission software, primarily in C++ and Python, and work within a Git-based workflow on Linux and Windows environments. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification before start date.
• Ability to develop in C++, Python, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with Git-based workflows.
• Experience in Linux and Windows development environments.
• Ability to integrate software across subsystems and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain mission software.
• Develop software primarily in C++ and Python.
• Support software integration, debugging, verification, and production hardening.
• Participate in architecture discussions, planning, and reviews.
• Submit changes through version control and MR process.
• Participate in daily task planning and Agile development.
• Collaborate with Systems, DSP, and RF engineers to develop capabilities.
