Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3+ years in safety-critical spacecraft software.
• Expertise in Python and language concepts.
• Strong systems fundamentals: concurrency, networking, performance.
• Experience building real-time data acquisition, low-latency services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• End-to-end observability: logging, metrics, tracing.
• Docker/Kubernetes; release management and phased rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Own Ground Segment Services: develop and maintain high-reliability telemetry ingestion, distribution, and commanding services.
• Deliver operator-grade UIs and dashboards to optimize ops time and reduce cognitive load.
• Build tools for flight-software simulations, device emulators, and automated tests.
• Design and productionize software for mission and ground software teams; standardize CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Create deployment patterns for lab benches, test stands, and mission networks; safe rollout/rollback.
