Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Software Engineer for the Imaging Interfaces team. You will own fielded system health, triage issues across the full stack, and serve as the technical representative for integrations with customers and external teams.

The role involves building production services on edge devices, diagnosing deployed hardware with field operators, and collaborating across firmware, hardware, and software engineers in a fast-moving environment where field presence and on-site

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with production ownership.
• Proficiency in at least one of C++, TypeScript, or Python and cross-stack ability.
• Ability to learn new languages, tools, and deployment systems quickly.
• 3+ years Linux-based experience, including bare-metal hardware.
• Ability to diagnose across system boundaries without full visibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication; USA clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system health and uptime; triage and resolve issues across the full stack.
• Build and extend production services for edge devices in austere environments.
• Support field operations by diagnosing deployed hardware with operators in the field.
• Represent the team in external integrations and customer engagements across the stack.
• Maintain end-to-end system understanding across hardware, firmware, networking, and software.
• Collaborate across firmware, hardware, and platform engineers; travel ~25% for field testing.
