HavocAI, based in Honolulu, HI, is hiring a Mission Software Engineer to deliver autonomy in field deployments. You will build, deploy, and own software ensuring autonomous systems perform reliably in operational environments.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in CS, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• 3+ years of experience with C++, Python, or Rust in a Linux environment.
• Experience building software with significant data processing and analysis.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly.
• Passion for mission-critical software with real-world impact.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for US clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver software solutions deployed to customers with high-quality, mission-focused delivery.
• Improve mission capabilities by scaling HavocAI products to broader use cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, build, and test complex features.
• Analyze performance metrics for debugging and monitoring deployed systems.
• Troubleshoot root causes and coordinate next steps with stakeholders.
• Partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing UX and constraints.
• Real-world deployment.
