Job summary

Tessera is seeking a Tire Repairer at Warner Robins Air Force Base, GA, with full-time hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of tires and wheel assemblies on military and other vehicles, following technical manuals to ensure safety and readiness.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 0-3 years in tire repair or related mechanical work; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years experience in tire repair, tire mounting and balancing, vehicle maintenance, or related mechanical work.
• Knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment systems, including tires, brakes, suspension, steering, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tires and wheel assemblies on military and commercial equipment.
• Perform mounting, balancing, rotation, inspection, repair, replacement, and servicing of tires on various vehicles and equipment.
• Follow technical manuals and repair orders to diagnose and repair components.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs using computerized systems.
