Job summary

BCI is seeking a Dining Facility Attendant at Fort Benning, GA to support daily meal service and maintain a clean, safe dining area in line with contract standards.

You will assist with meal service, sanitation, stocking, and customer service, working with food service teams to ensure efficient, mission-ready operations.

Preferred experience in food service or high-volume settings; ability to stand long hours and lift up to 40 pounds; flexible schedules including weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience in institutional or high-volume dining environments is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Professional demeanor and teamwork skills.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Meal Service Support: Assist with food line setup, serving, and breakdown during meal periods.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, serving lines, kitchen spaces, and equipment; follow food safety standards and PPE usage.
• Operational Assistance: Assist with receiving and stocking supplies; support opening/closing procedures; report hazards and issues promptly.
• Team Support: Work with food service staff and supervisors to meet operational demands and ensure efficient operations.
