Job summary

Esri is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to secure critical Defense and Intelligence systems. You’ll apply RMF, A&A, and ATO practices, maintain authorizations, and drive vulnerability remediation across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You’ll collaborate with system engineers, DevSecOps, and program teams to ensure secure, mission‑ready systems, with relocation assistance to St. Louis, MO. A TS/SCI-eligible clearance and DoD 8570 II+ certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar security role with RMF/A&A/ATO responsibilities.
• Hands-on vulnerability scanning and compliance tracking (ACAS/IAVM).
• Experience securing Linux and Windows systems with STIGs and patching.

Responsibilities

• Apply RMF processes to support A&A and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, and ATO artifacts in XACTA/eMASS.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation in line with DoD guidance.
• Implement security controls per NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and related DoD standards.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and system engineers to weave security throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide cybersecurity risk input to leadership and stakeholders.
