Job summary

Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a Mission Project Specialist (MPS)/Project Manager to provide onsite DoD IT project management, program control, and fielding support at Fort Belvoir, VA.

You will coordinate across government and contractor teams, develop IMS-based schedules, manage budgets and risks, and deliver executable plans with measurable outcomes. The role demands leadership, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to complex programs.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and project performance measurement.
• Technical understanding of IT/communications tech (networking, SATCOM, VoIP).
• Ability to coordinate among DoD government, contractors, logistics, and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Track progress using dashboards and IMS.
